In exchange, she has to help him resolve the problems caused by the school’s supernaturals—starting with rescuing her friend Aoi from the clutches of the Misaki Stairs, one of the infamous Seven Mysteries. Can they reach the innermost depths of the Stairs before time runs out? And if they do, what dangers and secrets await them there...?

If Nene and Kou want to return to their own world, they have to kill “Amane Yugi” and “Sousuke Mitsuba”- or rather, the versions of them living within the canvas of No. 4’s boundary. Faced with that cruel choice, Nene instead proposes a way to escape from this fake world to the boy she can’t help but call “Hanako-kun.” At the same time, Kou tries to win over Mitsuba...but just who exactly is this “Mitsuba”?!

Shijima-san is willing to help Nene and her friends escape from the painting, but they don’t have much time to reach the distant exit before they’re trapped inside for good.
