"What are you looking for?"It is the first thing Jesus says in John's Gospel, and he says it to two people who are following him without quite knowing why. He does not ask for a statement of belief. He asks about desire.Most of us know what faith is supposed to say. We have the language, the frameworks, the practices. What we do not always have is a way for those true answers to reach the places where fear tightens, grief lingers, ambition drives, or prayer goes unanswered....
