In May 6, 1944, in the Atlantic Ocean, about 760 kilometers (470 miles) from the Cabo Verde Islands, a duel between a u-boat and a destroyer escort occurred. This story is a retelling of that event, using information from after action reports and other sources. It is a story of brave men fighting each other for their country and for their comrades.
