Glorious Rain is an inviting collection of authentic and meaningful poems crafted by English poet Phil Hope. The material is uplifting, motivational, rhythmic and flowing. The book takes its' name from a poem Phil wrote after he visited the wonderfully atmospheric St Nectan Falls, near Tintagel, Cornwall; He is often inspired by visits to such amazing places which undoubtedly makes his job as an author and poet appreciably easier.

There is something special to me about creating new art – something brand new, that has never been seen or heard before. This is what I enjoy doing most of all, along with trying to give a good measure of inspiration to the reader. Life, of course, is not all a ‘bed of roses’ and I have attempted to balance the works, as in my previous book (Forever 21), to reflect this fact. Writing Crossroads was quite simply a labour of love. It took me a little longer to write than I had originally expected; This was due to me trying to produce a good range of material that matched the quality of my previous works, Chasing Rainbows. There is quite a variation of topics, which hopefully make the read interesting and enjoyable.
