Bugs travels down to Cape Kennedy to watch the first launch of a rocket to the moon. At the last minute Bugs takes the place of another rabbit who was scheduled to go on the trip but came up sick.

Bugs finds out his friend Porky Pig is going ,on a picnic and he didn’t invite Bugs. Bugs follows him and discovers the picnic is a birthday party—for Bugs. When Bugs asks how come they didn’t invite him to his own party, Porky says they knew he would show up anyway.

Bugs answers an ad in the paper for a woman looking for a new pet. Bugs gets the job and thinks he has hit easy-street. The problem is Sylvester, the cat he replaced as the pet, isn’t going to take it well and the action begins.

Bugs meets his old buddy, Elmer Fudd, and discovers Elmer is not the conductor of the City Orchestra. Bugs uses all his wit and tricks as he tries to become part of the orchestra.

Bugs visits the concert hall and interrupts the evening performance. As the conductor tries to get rid of Bugs and put on the concert he runs into a variety of problems, all caused by Bugs Bunny.
